Technical session is an approach, in which teachers of the department are assigned to teach a group of students about any new technology; Students will get to know about the subject or topics which they don’t study in their curriculum. Students who are concerning to impose on classroom conversations and assignment will be able to get a precise knowledge about different topics, theories, methodologies and perspectives. Exploring topics across a range of subject boundaries motivates students to pursue new knowledge in different subject areas.

So, to enhance knowledge of students in the field of Computer, a Technical session was organized by Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, Assistant Professor, Computer Science Department. His topic was Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, its scope and applications. He introduced AI (Artificial intelligence): any task performed by a program or a machine intelligently. If a human carried out the same activity, we would say the human had to apply intelligence to accomplish the task. He also described about the use of AI as AI is ubiquitous today, used to recommend what you should buy next online, to understand what you say to virtual assistants such as Amazon's Alexa and Apple's Siri, to recognize who and what is in a photo, to spot spam, or detect credit card fraud.

Lecture was very informative and interactive. Students were actively involved in the discussions and have cleared all their doubts and queries. All the students were motivated and happy after the session.
